So tuseday my pc had a popup that i didnt see tell i stopped playing cod telling me that win 10 was ending support in 2025. So i had to do the check to see what on my pc doesnt support win 11. Turns out my cpu and motherboard didnt support win 11so i did some looking online and had some odeas on what i wanted to spend in total for this. Spoke with my tech friend for a little but never got a reply when i woke up about the cpu and motherboards i was looking at, so i went to my local microcenter and started looking i ended up leaving with a rog strix b550-f gaming wifi II motherboard and an amd ryzen 9 5900 12 core processor, the sales they had made things cost effective for me, but i also bought a cooling unit just a small dinky one as i figured i had enough fans to help keep things cool. Well after getting everything installed and hooked up with a few questions to my tech friend i got it up and running. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out why it wasnt finding my boot drive or why it wasn't letting me select a boot order, so i ended up enabling the csm and then boom everything worked i could select my boot order. But that was a pain to deal with but i tested the system while playing cod and cod zombies conestly placing my hand on the side of my pc to feel how hot it was while also checking my pcs temps with the app it came with and i felt it was just to hot for my liking so i bought a water cooler which im currently waiting for just hoping that the frequently returned item thing is false for me. This will be the first time ive ever used a water cooling system in my pc.
