when i read AI techbros...

I just see them laughing at real artists because for some reason to another.

First, the time, AI takes less time to get something done
Second it is free create something at the moment we'll see in the future
Third:they said its not based on original drawings that humans, and there is many evidences Ai did take drawings or original works to nake their result picture.
Fourth: they cant get sued for the same reason, because it just rake chunks of many drawings and merge them together, even modifying the signature from those original drawings, also since they are free so that goes under fair use.

Real artists are under threat everyday, ever since digital replaced traditional drawings.

I know AI is here and wont leave for now. Real artists will never be replaced, but if you upload more and more stuff online, those pics will make use of your style to make their drawings with chunks of your style, just saying, and remember when its very well evolved, im sure those pics will cost money soon or later, money that can be yours, nothing in life comes for free, with just IP and your prompts and some cookies from your browser is  enough to sell your data ;)
You came to deny something i said, well lets see your arguments.

I don't know much about this topic, but I thought furry artist are the least likely to lose their jobs, since the furry community is heavily against the use of AI

Furry communitty is a big minority itself, imagine furry and non furry artists who draw furry, and watching how many AI work is still plaguing this web page vs human work, im sure there's more Ai than human work soon for sure, thousands of years of human art, of inspiration, experience and work ended in just a "tool" this is the way to going forward i guess.

Sorry, but there's absolutely no way that AI is going to replace furry artists anytime soon, if ever.  The difference between an actual artist drawing stuff vs AI creating stuff is still way too clear as day, the technology isn't quite there yet.

That technology is evolving really fast, in less of two years are making even greater art, soon or later will be more than perfect to for those with picky eyes. And im not bringing consiracy teories,

The only way I see AI to ever coming close to mimic human hands is if it can literally draw the art itself using it's own artificial hands.

Just like phone camera devastated the photography industry AI will do the same with illustrations. The kinds of edits todays phones can automate used to take actual skill. While the results will still not be as good as what a skilled human photographer can do people won't care. They will consider mediocre results that are cheap as acceptable over great results that cost hundreds more.

And that's just regular people, then you get cases like this where the AI artist is paid roughly $1500/hour (no I did not miss a decimal) https://gameworldobserver.com/2024/04/09/champions-of-o...

I mean, they have to do something while waiting for the magic box to spit out a picture.

They finally got that free furry art vending machine they always wanted.
