Dead SSD

by
I'm sorry, my SSD is dead, thus I cannot generate anything on this PC.
I'm waiting for the replacement parts, don't know the dates.

I'm very sorry, I hope you haven't lost any important data. I hope everything can be resolved quickly 💪🏻

I don't store the important things without backups, but yes, it's inconvinient.
I need at least a few weeks, because I live in the country without high tech and no official manufacturers are present. So I need to order new disk abroad and wait for the delivery.

If I may ask, what brand did you choose? I usually use Western Digital for my PC's HDDs and SSDs. I think they're the best brand on the market; not a single problem in many years.

I know you specifically said SSD ---- buuuuut.... the WD10JPVX hard drives are super super super cheap right now.... it's real easy to stick it into an adapter caddy to use it in a full size PC... and those drives only cost $20 on average.... like I said, super cheap... maybe check around Ebay...

That's nice and cool, but:
* I have superslim case with no 3.5'' slots, only two 2.5''
* I live in a distant village in Eastern Asia, so no ebay for me and I need to wait a few weeks for anything to travel here. I literally have no choice but to order electronics in another country as local shops only sell phones.

WD10JPVX ~is~ a 2.5 style drive.

It's meant for Laptop... and sure it's not a 2 TB like the SSD like you had, it's a 1TB, but maybe you could double them up? I'm sure that there are Adapter Bays that can turn a single Desktop 3.5 drive bay into a Dual 2.5 Bay.....

Sorry, I am not trying to be annoying, just trying to be helpful... especially since the WD10JPVX ~laptop~ drives are so cheap.... $20 for a 1 TB laptop drive honestly isn't bad....

Oh gosh..... I'm so so so sorry, that SUCKS.... now I understand why you're upset.... >.<

I didn't mean to intrude either, I just wanted to help.... u.u
