Today is my Birthday.

Greetings watchers, today is the anniversary I crawled out of my mother's womb, and became a part of the light world.
Sitting here I have made a whopping 35 revolutions around our giant ball of fire in space.
So, by all scientific accounts, that would make me 35 years old.
Am I a "Greymuzzle?"

No, there's some 10 or 15 years to go before we hit the very early stages of actually old.
But it seems to be one of those mind-over-matter things.
Some people crash & burnout by 30, others do their greatest fun or achievements in the retirement ages, even around 70.
Just a matter of seeking & doing.

Haha! When I was 20, they said most greymuzzles were +35, usually around the 40~ mark.
Fast forward, now it's like, "Dood, the legal age for drinking got pushed up again!" Or some strange occurance where you're about to go ride on a rollercoaster, but the moment you step up, they bump up the height limit 😂

I've got you by 33 years, so I'll never consider a baby like you a greymuzzle.  LOL.

That was...a little...mean spirited.
But i'll put it in good faith you didn't intend it that way. After all, the internet can be kinda hard to read subtle clues in messages.

I assume "baby" was meant as playful sarcasm, sayings like "I was doing [job/task/skill] while you we still in diapers!"(which can now not exactly mean what it used to, which is kinda the point).
I mean since a quick glance at their page doesn't seem to show signs of an internet troll (AFAIK).

Oh I agree with you, I'm not saying they are malicious, just that sarcasm is easily lost in translation from vocals, to mundane letters on a screen.

When someone writes, it's easy to understand your own pitch of design and meaning. But some information simply does not translate well.

There is a great example of a study like this, where people would clap, "Jingle Bells." The expectation was that half of people who would listen, would get the song.
When they performed the test, only about 2% of people actually got what they were clapping.

I can't remember what the exact wording was, but something about the individual clapping out the song had prior knowledge, whereas someone who didn't was completely in the dark.

It's my suggestion that something to this event is occuring, that information is just simply incomplete.

Oh, I wasn't intentionally being mean-spirited.  Like you said, I was being a bit sarcastic.  (That's why I added LOL at the end so you'd know I was joking.)  I was just saying that I'm an old man and you'll always be a baby in my eyes.  (Just like my mom called me "Baby" until the day she died at age 87 because as she put it, "You'll always be my baby.")

I'm happy we are able to acknowledge these differences. Any lesser beings would immediate deflect and blame others.
I know since you are older than me, you come from a different world, almost literally. Since I knew this, I was able to respect your outlook, (one time I was using old slang for fun without knowing the meanings, and called my mom bodacious. Let's say that ended in a lot of confusion.)
So...I have some experience with empathy :D

Nope. I didn't earn my grey muzzle until I hit 50 revolutions of this planet. Plus, I've had this fursona since the early Second Life days, so I've kinda earned that grey muzzle.

Don't be in such a hurry to be a grey muzzle - the older you get, the more you look back and go "I was THAT stupid, wasn't I?" ;)

I have some grey hair. Started when I was in my mid-20s.
Stress maybe? 🤔

Could be genetic. I didn't get a bit a grey until 44 whereas my younger brother got grey at 19. I have no idea when mom did since she was a "bottle blond" up until she was about 62 when she finally said f-it and stopped coloring her hair. Dad was getting grey around 30.

I think you're right, now I remember my mom saying my grandad went bald at an early age. She said it in passing once, but now it all makes sense 😂
