UPDATE    Social media site LAWs

by
Florida is attempting to pass a law banning anyone under 16 from have a social media account. The courts might well have precedent for anyone wanting to sue over that law.
Apparently Ohio has a law that doesn't bar minors from having social media accounts but requires parental consent to open new ones for minors. This law has already been blocked by courts and a ruling is expected soon. Similar laws in other states have so far been blocked by the courts

There's no way to tell who's a minor on the internet anyway.
Therefore, those kind of laws are impossible to enforce, unless a minor who is attempting to open an account is being a transparent Honest John and reveals profile information that is true and correct.

By the way...The only way to know which accounts can not possibly belong to a minor are the accounts that have been around for the past 15 years or longer.
An 18 year old today would be 3 years old 15 years ago...Too young to know how to use a computer.
Of course, an account that has been around for 15 years could have been open by someone who was age 16 at the time, and is age 31 today.

However, there is no way to know who a recently opened account belongs to.
