I am so grateful for my friends and family in our fandom...

Last year my fiance OD'd on meth and alcohol. I lost everything. If it weren't for my friends and family in our fandom I would not be here today. Thank you with all of my heart to everyone who was there for me and for all the support. It truly made all the difference.

Thank you with all my heart Jamey. Another year down, and honestly I feel ready to finally kick 8 years worth of trauma and emotional baggage to the curb. My mantra going into 2025 is "go forth and kick ass", and so far it has made a positive difference. I'm taking my life back dammit!

One year later, still taking things day by day, but going into 2025 my mantra has been "go forth and kick ass!".
I'm taking my life back and dumping 8+ years of trauma and emotional baggage.

I'm finally dumping 8+ years of trauma and emotional baggage and taking my life back.

That's really good to hear.. especially given what's going on out there and all that. I've been basically trying to do the same thing, and it's mostly going well aside from living in abject poverty with no prospect of making money ever again -_- I sure hope you're not having to deal with that sorta thing yourself, though.
