Who is your favorite streamer/youtuber?

by
Idk if anyone else has this problem where YouTube recommends you videos you’ve watched or the same exact videos over and over again. Can you recommend me some? For reference I like pretty much anything gaming related, esp. retro gaming.

I love Summoning Salt, also most pokemon youtubers who do challenges like nuzlockes, real easy to fall asleep/ draw to! SmallAnt is pretty fun when it comes to the video game challenges.

Love summoning salt, the music they use in their videos is great too. Have you heard of pikasprey? They do some interesting Pokémon challenges

Not really retro but a lot of Indie games and a lot of bigger games; IGP is always fun to watch.

I LOVE Running Shine! His reviews are really in-depth regarding the game-design and player-feel aspects of the games he plays, and his humor (while often edgy) is EXTREMELY funny, I really like his stuff! I recommend his YIIK video, or his Klonoa 2 video!

Can recommend tehsnakerer too, very content dense playthrough/review mix type of videos, and while his humor is hit or miss, I find his commentary on the game often interesting! I also recommend his YIIK video, or his video on Boiling Point!

I can recommend you others too, if you'd like!

I don't like any of the gaming YouTubers I watch, only following them to keep up on news.

As for favorite YTbers in general, TechnologyConnections can be funny. He's got a few running jokes, so it could be worth watching the awkward early videos first. It's focused on retro TV/audio tech mainly.

For retro gaming, it would be Mike Matei.

I can't say I have an absolute favorite but if you like horror game then 8BitRyan is great. Then there's the obvious ones like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye of course. Then there's Vinesauce Vinny, he's pretty great especially when he does game corruptions. Tom Fawkes can be hilarious at time if you don't mind him stumbling over his words all the time

Asmongold and LGR are pretty good!
Asmon is a game streamer and commenter and LGR is a retro tech guy

Probably not as retro as your looking for- but the youtuber bewildebeest has a couple of commentated Zelda speedruns that are honestly really funny and interesting, atleast to me. I also tend to watch fruit salad / grayfruits Peggle vods a lot? They're just really relaxing. Jerma also plays older games time to time, which is always fun to watch C: His Seaman stream sticks out to me- again probably not as retro as your thinking, but it's some of my fav stuff ^~^

Kikoskia plays a lot of retro games and is generally pretty funny. SovietWomble is also really funny. SuperBestFriends are disbanded, but all of their old content is still public on youtube and is some of the most entertaining gaming content on the site imo, and they all still make videos today on their solo channels, WoolieVS, PatStaresAt, and Matt McMuscles.

And I absolutely have to recommend AFanWithToMuchTime's Star Wars x Warhammer series. Not gaming, but amazing story, writing, and narration.

Not gaming related at all, but I suggest Aging Wheels. He has a fleet of weird cars he works on and does things with, and he's really entertaining.

And sometimes there's chickens.

The Art of Aaron Blaise on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AaronBlaiseArt

He was an animator for Disney in the '90s, and he does live streams where he makes art while answering questions. His level of skill could be intimidating if he had more of an ego, but he seems approachable and has really positive vibes on his live streams.

On Twitch, you can't go wrong with DNOpls.  https://www.twitch.tv/dnopls

And if you'd like, because the temptation is too great, I stream games with a focus on Retro games on Twitch
