Part of my reason for not coming back, and honestly a reason for concern around those chosing to move to Inkbunny as an alternative to Furaffinity is due to the Transphobic remarks/stances of the Inkbunny staff.

Remarks/stances that have been hurtful to people who I hold dear.

Kinda yikes ngl.

That's fair. I wouldn't want you to lie, either! Nor do I wish to do so myself.

But I'd also suggest staff actions matter than their personal views when it comes to choice of venue. How you see them may depend on your point of view.

It would, for example, be possible to construe these decade-old revisions of the keyword policy as transphobic, on the grounds that they single out sex  and gender variance as important. But I did not introduce the sex-linked terms, just correct their description (they were there because a lot of people weren't interested in male or - especially - female content); and as a practical matter if we had policed them strictly you'd have heard about it. The gender variance line was added as a suggestion based on a review of what keywords were being blocked - and used by submitters - with the ultimate goal of reducing tension between members.

Similarly, almost as many years ago now I chose not to delete a piece by a controversial artist that many trans people saw as offensive. But that was not because of the topic - it was because we try not to remove controversial work generally, lackng a focus on a specific individual. (For example, suggesting that a named health official should die in a vat of acid at the height of the COVID pandemic.)

I'm not sure if any of this will convince you or your friends that Inkbunny is worth using, and frankly while I enjoy seeing your art, I'm not that bothered either way. It is not run for them, nor is it run against them. If they choose to use IB, they're welcome to do so. If not, I'm sure there are other platforms, even now.
