Since Fur Affinity has taken the stance against fictional content featuring minors in sexual situations, we have continued to evolve our rules to prevent minors from being exploited and to ensure that our rules are equally applied.
Our most well-known change removed the classic “1000 year old loli vampire” loophole trope by expanding our definition of minors to include humanoids with childlike body proportions, including canonically adult characters who look like children. Such characters need to be aged-up accordingly (proportions changed to that of an adult) to be allowed in submissions containing sexual situations. These changes were well-received, and based upon additional feedback from our community, any reports we receive of Pokémon or Digimon who have childlike body proportions or appear as adolescent animals will be treated as any other when in the presence of sexual activity, sexual objects, nudity, or fetishized in a sexual way. This update will go into effect on July 1st, 2023.
We would like to reiterate this applies to those characters only with childlike proportions or are otherwise presented as children in sexual content as described above.
Accounts found in violation may receive a 1 week suspension and a final warning. Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban. If you believe that this change may impact your gallery, then you should delete any and all content that may violate our rules before July 1st, 2023.
If you have questions as to whether this may apply to your content, please feel free to open a ticket under “NSFW Underage Content” with links to the content in question, and we can verify if the content is in violation or not.

Appended: Additional Clarification
Due to feedback we have received regarding this update, we are providing the following clarification on the changes that went live today.
- NO, there is no blanket ban across species. - NO, there is no list of species that we will always take action on. - YES, characters in your NSFW art must be aged up. - NO, simply making something bigger or smaller does not indicate age. - We look at anatomy proportionally alongside other context in submissions.
There is also some confusion as to the extent of the changes that went live today. Section 2.7 of the Upload Policy has been in effect for many months with its current wording. The only thing that changed as of this update is our internal policy on Pokemon and Digimon. Pokemon and Digimon are now actionable, if presented as children, when they were not in the past.
Again, small or otherwise cute adults, Pokemon/Digimon or not, will not be removed unless they proportionally/anatomically represent a child.

Mostly pedos, zoos and Nazi furs/furry raiders as well as those tricked into thinking it's a legit con when it's not unfortunately. Jason and Kabs are this year's GOH and while I don't have anything too negative to say about Kabs, according to reports Jason slept with her when she was 16 as well as used her voice in earlier animations. She may be an adult now so there isn't much anyone can do about it now but that's still immoral on his part. He's also been accused of being homophobic and racist but I can't find anything to prove those claims, but that should tell you what type of con this is.

There has definitely been an increase in the number of posts being made, and I know of at least one artist that posted on both, who has declared that after this, they will no be posting on FA any further (pointing out in the process that the art posted here is a higher resolution as well). There was also at least one post which directly referenced the change when I was browsing new art yesterday.

It's such a small but nice thing I adore about the site. I don't have to see things I don't want to. Other people can enjoy'em but they're not to my tastes. And if an artists I like uploads something that I wouldn't care for, the blocked words save the day (especially since everyone's usually good on tagging).

IB's been my go to site for over half a decade now. It's the best website in terms of everything:
UI, Community (Only ever ran into like 2 or 3 bad apples but they were cut out of the tree pretty fast or personal)
An easy to use tag and blacklist which, how the fuck FA doesn't have/use a proper tagging/blacklist is a mystery aside from just being lazy
Not to mention the creator is active and open to discussion/help with the website. I don't know much about Dragoneer's history aside from the IMVU thing but it's a real bad look when almost no one has anything good to say about him.

I did so following many artists whom drew sonic characters and were getting wrongfully punished by the FA mods for even having aged up sonic characters. People like to draw a line directly beneath themselves because it makes them feel better about themselves, and pushing other people past that line makes everyone else seem worse by comparison so they can feel EVEN BETTER about themselves. Lots of people just never really grew past that high-schooler/middle-schooler mentality, and it shows.

Here is an objective statement that I think everyone who isn't a closet-or-overt furry-hater, or at least isn't a deeply disturbed individual who hates themselves and takes it out on others like a stereotypical abuser, should agree with. - Either no kink or preference is alright because "everyone is an idiot and susceptible to temptation to do something morally dubious or wrong, so nobody should be allowed to have fun" which is just as much a vacuous generalisation as it is a questionable and vague one. Or every kink is fine, and it's just what a person ends up doing with them that defines that person's morality. Which honestly is logic more people in the fandom should have just by virtue of being a furry. - But apparently some people feel that the right to not be judged arbitrarily, only applies to them and again arbitrarily.
There are tons of people with utterly plain tastes who abuse those tastes and people in their clique to achieve self-satisfaction inside AND outside the fandom. There are lots of people in the fandom who get or have been sexually abused in ways that don't really involve a kink. Maybe a person with moral failings has those moral failings for different reasons than their fetish, it's just that their fetish is what their moral failing ends up being expressed through.

I never read rules i just tend to go and draw if i can bring myself to do it. Maybe if i became more popular by being more consistent i would run into the folk who actually want to stand in my way.
