EtherSaga has passed away recently on Sunday, March 12th 2023. No info so far on exactly what pushed him over, but he was recovering from a stroke incident just a few months prior, which left his left side numb and immobile, and his energy and health completely sapped. Hearing that he passed away... this was shocking news on my way out the door, something that weighed heavily in my thoughts while I worked my shift. I still can't believe it's real. He was not even on my list of who I expect to go next, y'know?... What a guy though. Who didn't like Ether?... Ether was a huge supporter of all sorts of other artists, my own humble self included. His many supportive comments, Favourites, and Watches have helped encourage growth in so many other budding artists, and despite his high skill and profile he's never pushed anyone down or made others feel unwelcome in the community. Ether was all about support and inclusion. I've chatted with him on and off in the various art Discords. A very pleasant, quiet fellow. Funnily though, I have earned a few disgruntled emoji GIFs from him whenever I posted a bad Dad joke. Don't think he was a huge fan of those, but it was still fun to get him to banter with us. I'm gonna miss that. He was one of the first few mega artists to watch when I first joined InkBunny, and I quickly fell in love with his lewdy art and stories of Robyn and her family. I was fortunate to not only have made fan art for him and get fan art in return, but more-so in the fact that we actually got to chat and talk about art and interests together as art buddies. I used to watch him stream together with Lichfang on Piczel or Picarto, ages ago. Really was awesome to watch his processes on a live stream. I'm hoping friends or family will release info to his peers. Until then, I'm like the rest of you, still seeking answers. Rest well PotatoLord. EDIT: according to a source in his personal gaming Discord, this is what happened to Ether.: "The doctors say he died from heart failure and sepsis"
