Important Message

To all of my followers,

I hope you enjoy this latest submission, there's some pretty good stuff here, but I also must take this time to relay a bit of bad news. You see, I recently reached out to IB staff to clarify the policy on AI artwork going forward. I have been told that while some AI art will be allowed on IB, my particular art will not.

The logic is that if AI art is allowed, it should be possible for others to learn, reproduce and build on the tools in question. Given that much of NovelAi's code is gated behind a paywall, this makes any such free sharing impossible. Thus, everything I have posted up to this point will likely be deleted within the next few weeks.

Given this information, I am currently backing up every upload I've made to the site. If you wish to download any of the works I've made so far, now is the time to do so.

Now, the obvious next step would be for me to switch to a free and open-source AI generator like StableDiffusion. Unfortunately, that is not so easy for me. My computer is old and does not have the hardware to run such a program. In my eyes, the most significant advantage of NovelAi is that it can remove that limitation. A small subscription fee is worth it compared to sinking hundreds of dollars into a new system. Unfortunately, that no longer be an option for me, at least here on IB.

With that in mind, I will be looking into finding a new platform to post my work on. When I find a new place to call home, I will make a journal entry announcing it, with a link you can all follow. If any of you have suggestions for a suitable alternative, please reach out to me. I am open to suggestions.

Also, and I can not stress this enough, please do not give any of the IB staff a hard time over this. I am aware that there has been a lot of back and forth between them over this issue. In the end, this decision was made because they believe it is the right one and that it would be best for the community. I do not begrudge them for that; I wish them the best. Furthermore, I knew right from the beginning when I made this account that a scenario like this was a likely possibility, and I accepted that. I intend to leave courteously without any hard feelings.

Please do not screw that up by sending them harassment or other inappropriate comments.

Finally, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have enjoyed my work. My time here was short but explosive. It was a surreal feeling seeing how quickly I was able to gain attention and amass a following. Part of me wonders how far I could've gone over the long term, how big this account might have gotten over the course of years, but that's wasted head space now, and I've always been one to look towards the future.

Thank you, every last one of you degenerate mother fuckers, and for what will likely be the last time on IB

Enjoy

The solution is setting up a Mastodon instance and using it for AI toon art. Please PM me and I will give you details on this project I am currently working on.

post them on Pixiv, theres a literal tag on there, all you need to do is just post the censored ones on there and on the description a uncensored collection album on imgur.
just please do that because for once theres some good cubs from little done chars out there.

Pixiv may not be a good option anymore. Mastercard has given them the direction to get rid of most if not all porn related content.

you really need to understand that wasnt the case.

Yes it is. Starting December 15th, Pixiv will no longer allow many artworks that violate their terms of service, this includes the posting of loli/cub content. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-11-16/pixiv-...

It's more likely that it was directed at the posting of actual child porn under the pretense that it was "art" because someone passed it through a filter. And then having people subscribe to their fanbox for "more content".

I've heard rumors about this, but I'm still a little suspicious. The wording of their announcement was vague enough to sound like their banning loli content, but we won't really know until that December deadline rolls around.

I never really considered Pixiv an alternative anyway. Censoring every image I post would get annoying after awhile, especially if I'm just going to post a link to the uncensored version anyway.

My reading of it was essentially "Mastercard won't let us charge for it, so you can't have this material within the portions of this site which are for commissions or paid support." It wasn't a site-wide ban on it in the general archive, more like "not on Patreon, no commissions through our payment gateway". (Obviously for professional porn artists this is still a big issue.)

Since when did this once open and welcoming website has started to clamp down whats allowed and whats not...
This is very bad because this could have seriously boosted this website popularity with all the new content but since furries still continue to alienate their own fanbase than i doubt this fandom will ever evolve from its drama ridden nightmare...

Inkbunny's existing artist base is important, too. There are also plenty of fans who don't like the idea of AI art, just as there are some artists who do like it - at least in part. We chose a path that we hope will allow AI art to prove its worth while avoiding mass migration from people on either side who fear a hard choice will result in a death spiral, or a significant loss of revenue from our existing artist base.

It's often said that content is king, but it's not the only thing, and nor is raw traffic numbers. We are not making money on visitors - artists are. Inkbunny will probably never be primarily be about AI art - we had a celebration of traditional art only last month - so it doesn't make sense to go all in on it because other sites will inevitably be better for that purpose, even within the furry community. The other choice was unpalatable because it would close the door on an obvious innovation in the field, and the works produced are clearly appreciated by some (though not all).

Have you tried using this colab?
https://colab.research.google.com/drive/128k7amGCLNO1JG...

It's supposed to launch Stable Diffusion web-ui in Google Cloud for free for you (however it might get randomly disconnected at times).
