Today at 1020hrs, At the age of 93, the sun has set with the passing of my father. He had prostate cancer and was supposed to be clear of it but due to him not taking part two of the first treatments (chemo or radiation) it came back and metastases to the bones and other organs. When the available treatments no longer worked, he went into hospice at home. It was tough for all of us watching him waste away to literally skin and bones, taking morphine for when the pain got too much.
A father of three, an attorney, a state rep. he cared about a lot of folks and helped them when he could. He will be missed.
