So, Monday (20 Sept) is one year since I first felt brave enough to upload a drawing here.
In the past twelve months I've got better at drawing (as you'd have hoped really!) although I'm by no means perfect at it. Recently I've been trying to draw something every couple of days or so – at least once a week – although not all of what I do ends up here; usually it's something on my Samsung tablet, although occasionally it's on actual paper.
I've also been developing my little cast of characters too and am hoping that I can actually use them as actual characters rather than just models for posing, although my imagination for storylines isn't that good (suggestions welcome!) – possibly my recent written story is the start of things (incidentally, bonus points for why the vicar is a labrador).
As I've said before, if anybody has any suggestions for things to draw or write – or even your characters if you trust me enough! – then they will be well received, although I'll retain the right to not draw anything I don't want to if there's suggested stuff that doesn't fit either my characters or even me. (Think of them almost as commissions, but free, and where the artist is a: not very good, and b: likely to change things around depending on his mood.)
Not quite sure what the point of what I'm writing here is, except really to thank those who have found my little corner of this site and have helped and supported me, and of course a bit of sharing the love would be nice! Can I make it to twenty watchers before the year (of drawing!) is out? Maybe.
