I went there Friday even suited up too, but i got held up w/ work so i couldn't be there saturday and today was father's day so i wasn't able to go today either u____u I always hate sundays at AC you can feel the good times are over for this year and it rips your heart out.

i was hoping to be able to save up enough cash to buy it, hehthen my only issue is being able to get it, cause i most likely wont be able to buy a badge thingie you has to get to be able to enter with i have a badge https://www.furaffinity.net/view/7662061/ but i don't think they'd let me enter with just that.

had a blast. sucked I had to leave early Sunday around 1. I'm hoping to see a photo or video of me an sly in a fighting stance facing each other. Kage standing off to one side and we did this during the parade

Ha, no, it's not. I make journals about it all the time.

I'm disabled, with a disease that makes me easily tired, pretty weak and stiff as a board most days. So travelling all that way, doing all that activity...

I've always toyed with the notion of going to it, but I just never actually take the time to do it. (The really sad part about it is that I live in western PA, so Pittsburgh is like a 40 minute drive away for me.) I'd like to go, just to see what it's all about, but I don't really have anyone to go with. XD

Only 40 minutes away. I'm in Erie, about 2 hours from AC, and I didn't go. I went in 2008, and also to AC 1 through 4. The first two were the best for me. The one in 2008 was simply way too large, so I lost interest in going any more. I might go to the Western PA Furry Weekend in October though - much smaller but lots more fun, in my opinion.

I didn't go, even though it was only two hours south of me. The last AC I attended was in 2008. It was much too large for my tastes back then, and I hear that it just keeps growing larger. I'll settle for the smaller fur/plush gathering, if they happen near me.

Yeah, I hear ya about too large. I've never been to a furry con before, but I'm breaking down and going to FurFright in October. I'm told by friends that it's not as overwhelming and has a cap at 1500 registrations.

I think that's a good size for one's first con. I also heard that FurFright is pretty fun too. You still have to go to AC at least once in your life, just for the experience. I was at a sci-fi con back in the late 1990s that was over 13,000 people. It made AnthroCon look tiny by comparison.

Also, the price of the ticket to get in. Yes, I have $50-60 to spare, but I 'don't' have $50-60 to spare on 'porn'.

I thought AC was this coming weekend! I'm too broke this year to travel across the continent, anyway. I went to AC in 2001 and 2002. I was moving this past weekend in any case. I now live in a house with 3 other furries.

See you at RF and FC! I'll be going to those come hell or high water. Plus, bus fare to Seattle is only $21 there and back... I think I can afford that.

I would have no idea how to get there from where I am, but I would've give anything to go to any cons. That's the thing near me, no cons or meets or nothing. It gets very lonely sometimes
