I found something very interesting, and the curious part is that comes from youtube.
Is a video about the most used furry sites of the world, and the result is amazing that gave me a new perspective about how important is this site and made me learn a few things of the furry history.
I was curious about other furry sites and wanted to know if this site at least appeared in the list because I have a few furry friends that never heard of Inkbunny before.
Now here the spoilers:
Inkbunny is the second most important furry site of the world, the second most used... with E621 and Weasel very close on third place and Furaffinity in first place.
I just couldn't believe it at first but is true! This made me understood how important is this site that is also basically the capital of the cub artwork. FA maybe has more users but is harder find stuff there, besides the controversies that constantly happen in there that affects artists.
For me IB is much better. Man I am so happy to be here ^w^
:P yup, fa has alot more spammy posts.. the only reason its more"popular" is because it has so meny users.. but with that includes all the bad artists as well.. on inkbunny theres less users but alot more higher quality work

Some artists and writers I was following there got some flags and because they only had FA, they had to delete some of their works and now I can't find these works anywhere. :(

I agree. They used to allow cub artwork and there was a lot good content. I found a way to get some of that content but only a tiny part, we probably will never see most of that good forgotten artwork again.
Thank god we have Inkbunny, a much better site but sadly still some people erase their artwork and I dont know if exist an archive for lost stuff in here.

Yeah. I remember when they originally banned Cub content they said that any Cub existing before the ban can stay. But then the ban went through, a couple of weeks go by and some artists had their accounts banned overnight because someone went through their profile and reported all the old stuff. I don't remember who it was but someone I followed had to repeal their account 3 times before deciding to just delete all of it.

Wow yerf... I found that site back somewhere between 2001 and 2003. I remember finding out about it while at high school somehow. Yeah, I was accessing furry porn in school, before I knew what a furry was and well before (like almost 2 decades) becoming a furry myself XD
I'm sure I still have some of the printed artwork around here somewhere... yeah, I printed out furry porn on the school computers and printers. XD

That's right! I also noticed that is more comfortable be around here than in FA. Here there is good and easy options to navigate, besides the background gives me a comfortable vibs.
