Even if your art from 20 years ago are scribbles in MS Paint with full disregard for anatomy, composition and colors, it's still valuable.
Just think about it: we, your watchers and your fans, started following your art back then. We saw it as good, interesting, promising. We didn't subscribe to notifications about your uploads hoping that you'll get good 10 years later, we subscribed to watch your art now. If we liked it then, we still like it now.
Compare it to the old games. As someone born in the 80s, I still like the games of the 90s, even if their graphics are ancient by today's standards. I may disregard Atari games and people born in the 90s may disregard DOS games, but we all remember our old favorites. As long as I'm alive, they'll never get "too old" for me.
With the art, it's the same thing. I remember all these pictures. They're part of my memory. They're part of me.
For new artists, the stark difference between then and now in your galleries is what makes them believe they can learn and progress too. It's harder to justify learning if every artist around you is miles ahead. Seeing that artists you're fan of started from the same spot and took their time makes it easier to grab a pencil and start drawing.
And there's one additional factor for old farts like me. Back when the Internet was new, when we were thirsty for every bit of knowledge, when information wasn't temporary fast food with built-in self-destruction mechanism — back then, we valued what we have. Just like you shared your art, we shared our comments, our emotions, clicked the "fav" button. Even if I have your old picture saved, I can no longer see everything that surrounded it, so it's less alive. Nuking surroundings from high orbit devalues contributions of your fans, meager as they are.
Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Maybe I love one part of your art and not the other. Maybe I love your art drawn since some arbitrary year. But I do love it. And for others, it's a different part and a different year. But if we, your fans, unite, then I'm sure no picture of yours will be left unloved.
