Im still here just dealing with life and crap

Hi all

Been a while since I posted a journal.  Figured I'd show that I'm still alive and kicking.  Since last month I've had been dealing with health issues, mostly the traditional seasonal allergies.
Plus work has been my focus these past few days.  Hadn't had time to draw any Sonic related stuff.

Speaking of Sonic, I guess everybody here has seen the trailer for the new movie.  OMG so bad, it's borders on being a "it's funny b/c how bad it is".
I just recently learned they're going too update the CGI after all the criticisms about how he looks.  Honestly, I feel bad for all the artists who had to work on the current state and must now REVISE what they made.  The time constraint will not be fun for them.

Art has been slow with work and life.  I hadn't found energy or time to work on personal stuff or for doing commissions.  But I'm hoping when things calm down I can have some personal time to work on what I want.

I know ya feel Life hasn't been nice to me or my family.

1: My dad was going through hell because of the medicine for his cancer. He's doing okay but this made sleeping harder for him than usual.

2: I'm low on cash at my bank. It's gotten to the point where my Mom and Dad decided to not charge me rent till I find a job. But this adds more unnecessary stress for them.

3: Speaking of Jobs, I applied for a graphic designer job and that got taken off so I didn't apply for it. So I had to apply for a job up in Norman Oklahoma which is an hour and 9 minutes away. It's going to be quite a ride if I get there from my home town.

Things are going to be okay for now sense my dad is going to be okay now. Still I hope life turns out great for you soon.
So far the only thing I'm looking forward to for sure is the upcoming Godzilla film. As for the Sonic film, I'm kinda unsure about it, but if the redesign is good I'll give it a watch but I'll keep my expectations low. Sure the animators and modelers won't be happy with redoing shots but hey, sometimes you have to do it when working in that industry.

My dad had similar troubles for his prostate cancer.  Went through the treatments and was exhausted after the fact.  he's better now.  Glad your Dad is doing better now.

hope the job works out for ya man.

I'm definetly going in to watch the monster king kick some serious kaiju ass <3.  I have never been so giddy for anything since I saw the first Godzilla.
Just hope the artists doing the revisions dont get screwed over by the studio.  This whole revision thing is like last minute crunching for the 6 month deadline.

Well the cancer might be shrinking according to him. Heck I just got back from having lunch with my family and then we stooped by my parents house to watch the dragon ball super broly movie (My second time watching it.)

But yeah I hope to ge tmy money's worth sense that and employment is the only thing I have to look forward to this year.
