That feeling...

I try to avoid "blogposting" like the plague, but...

I'm the only one who, sometimes, feels like someone you really admire online, absolutely despise your guts, but you have no idea why? or if it is even true for that matter?
I have had this feeling for a long time, and every time i interact with this person, i feel like i just did/said something this person doesn't like somehow and it gets even worse.

jeez, it's soul crushing...

yep that has happen to me a few times but i think is more of the artist or famous person receive so many random people msg every day that they just treat everyone like a stranger. it happens the more popular they are the more chances of this happening. and is not the artist fault or even your fault is just well so many people talk to that person that he or she had to harden to not be hurt or trolled

and it is soul crushing but once you sit down and think about it you get like ok i understand if i were in that position i may ignore people too

XD there's an artist I admired.
Their ex decided to flirt with me... then tell them they did.
God knows what she was trying.
This artist hates me now... and isn't even my fault |3

But yeh, I got over that.

This one, by what I found out later, started bar rumors against me, turned other artists against me, and made a whole group hate me just because. XD

I feel you I think. Anxiety issues and the tendency to overthink lead me to the feeling quite a bit.
Don't worry, I'm sure it's nothing. Artist guy's probably just busy with other things.

I don't think they took commission. I noticed a bunch of pictures missing from their gallery, so I asked. They didn't just block me, they left a shout on my page that was insultingly playful about it.

real talk, i do the same, i try to stay just a simple spectator from most of the community i think that's why i have been on the internet for so long and never had an internet fight with anyone.
well, that and that i'm not popular lol.

There was an animator who I inspired me to animate. She then out of no where called me a pedo and it broke my world. I ended up blocking her cuz she broke my heart while she and her shitty whiteknights came after me. Luckily a lot of people defended me over it cuz of how ridiculous and out of no where it came from.

most people who use Inkbunny are labeled as "pedos" and it's easy to understand why, what we fave and what we draw sometimes use fictional underage characters, and we can argue until the end of time that is not the same, people don't care, they just want someone to get mad at, and nowdays is easy to get "internet points" by focusing a common villain like a pedophile.
taking that in consideration, and knowing that some creators on the internet are just "attention whores" that will do anything for those easy internet points, is easy to understand why she attacked you out of nowhere,and you where an easy target.

it sucks that it happened yo you man, if it helps, you can add me on discord and ill happily help you if you want advice on animation.

And just pointing this out, personally, i think blocking someone on the internet is just dumb, unless is just an actual troll or a spambot , if it is somebody you know it just tells to whoever you block "look, you win, i can't stand that what you say because IT'S TRUE" , so don't block somebody just because you disagree or just fought with them, don't make them think that they won.

i was on twitter though. and i blocked them cuz it hurted me so much seeing that they didnt even have proof they just said it cuz i was defending the fucking bacon and eggs chibi pic that everyone was freaking out about. and sure thank you.

I had have had a few experiences like that. One of them was a pretty well-known artist whose comic I had followed for years.
But for some reason, I got all kind of nasty attitude from him. I never had any explanation for his apparent dislike of me, considering I was not just an open admirer of his art but I sympathized with the ideas and topics he discussed. He would do stuff like answering every single posted comment except mine, which can't be a coincidence.

If I feel like someone might despise me, I just bring it up.

I say something like "Hey, I've felt lately that I've been getting on your nerves. If that's true, could you tell me? It's been troubling me enough lately that I felt I should just ask you rather than sit here brooding."

And then I get my answer. If it turns out to be true, I ask if there's anything I can do to fix it. If it isn't true, then I relax. The world would be so much simpler if people weren't shy and just blatantly discussed things.

not really I only talk with chill commissioners and a few guys I have as fur friends on discord, that's the easy way to avoid drama, but I understand that popufurs tend to have an excessive amount of fans and people who ask for free stuff so I imagine it's easier for them to treat everyone like strangers.
