Back to Business | I've gotten faster

April Fools was fun and all, but now that's done. Back to adventure!

One thing I've noticed with the last several projects I've worked on, including commissions (Hallelujah the drought is finally over!) is that... holy balls I've gotten faster! My start-to-finish used to measure in weeks, now I can start a drawing from scratch and be done, fully colored and shaded with a background, in just a few hours... and it doesn't look like shite!

My biggest flaw in my opinion used to be how slow I was, but it seems I'm well on my way to making that flaw irrelevant, allthewhile stepping up my color/background game as I go. This is certainly good news! At this point, I just hope I can utilize that for other people so I can have some supplementary income while I continue to whittle down the gargantuan monolith that is trying to get a job as a software engineer... which... if you've never tried it before, I cannot honestly say I'd recommend it unless you're an absolute masochist who loves rejection with a passion, but that love is second only to coming across job descriptions where "Entry Level" requires 1-3 years prior professional experience... but I digress.

I'm getting faster, which means my turnarounds are getting much much sooner than they were years ago. The days of me being slow as hell are gone, and good fucking riddance to that. I finally feel like I could reliably support a customer base.

That said, yadda yadda yadda, I've got commissions for sale for $10/$15/$20 for lineart/flat colors/full details respectively. Get them while they're cheap because I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't up the price due to aforementioned speed and end-quality.
