In any case, the footer needs to be completely overhauled. There are a lot of presumably no longer operating links, e.g. Fursday reading list's news article is from 2015 and Claw and Quil hasn't had a new post since 2016. Even for the ones that do operate, the footer isn't updated, e.g. while I don't like it, Dogpatch Press' links are many articles behind and the Furry Reddit link hasn't updated in 3 years though the Furry Reddit board seems to be going.

Yes, I had noticed about Dogpatch (but not Reddit). I was wondering if they changed how their site was setup or started posting them in a different category which is not covered by that RSS feed.
Part of the reason for keeping the older ones there is that our indexed versions may still have content that we want to be easily found by Google. By keeping them on the front page it gives them a little "juice" for search results purposes. But it is not a big reason and maybe there are better things to put there.
