I just wanted to take a minute to explain something with the current climate, there seems to be a huge push as of recent to purge the fandom of anything the main stream media/audience does not approve of, this is censorship at it's best.
We are seeing a rise of people being called out over zoo/feral and cub porn that's legal. Just because some think it's gross doesn't make it ok to try and ruin people. They try to label it as CP which is false as the law dictates it must contain actual children. Their goal is to dehumanize people for their own egos and anyone speaks common sense is labeled a CP defender.
We all know this is dangerous behavior, a lot of people don't understand including some baby furs, that if they can be successful with ruining people that view an commission cub porn that they are next. Rules put in place by FC in the current CoC and behavior like this will be used and expanded on other groups in the name of the children.
These actions do nothing to protect minors and do more to hurt survivors of sexual assault as I know many who use art to help them cope with the past. These are feel good tactics that are used to by big bigots an bullies, plus some people who believe they are really helping make the kids safe.
I had private conversation with a acquaintance who explained his side and he insisted that people who consume cub porn will seek out the real deal, there have been studies done to prove that is not the case yet he still insisted it was. He asked me to think about the context of what I was arguing for and warned me this is a terrible hill to fight on.
Well people have to do it, there has to be a counter to this insanity and witch hunting, it's a fight that will not be won but it has to go on. If they win here they will continue to push themselves onto other cultures too!
Here is a question due to the laws on the books from country to country, if a country says it's legal 100% like Japan, do we have the right to force our western morals on that culture and use influence to change their law to fit our mold? Isn't that Cultural imperialism?
I asked this to someone and all they could say is the argument was disgusting. So yeah my final thoughts, as much as people wanna scream about it being illegal, it's not illegal like they claim, it could be brought up as a obscenity charge at most and has yet to be tested in the states.
Even I took down some of my art over the witch hunts and am still on the fence about re-posting everything, given the current state of affairs.
I know some will try to use my statements and twist my words, but I regret nothing and will continue to correct people and stand up to false accusations when I see them and others need to too.
