Just in case you wondered whether taking two screencaps from movies and spending 10 minutes with a magic wand is considered art... submissions of

were removed. Well, on InkBunny. FurAffinity's admins persisted at defending the user, even claimed that sources are properly cited. Funny.

I had a similar issue happen.

https://inkbunny.net/s/1480921

I had a picture of the first thumbnail with a bio and a link to the animated file. FA slapped me for posting "screenshots".

So I got the linework done and used that instead.

Here on IB, I had no issue uploading the outright animated file along with the sketch.

FA's admin team is complete shit. Furries have been bitching about them for years because of their terrible double-standards with literally everything. They dont moderate the site objectively and everyone knows it.

Oh yes, the double standard is atrocious.

I ran into a douchebag who I politely mentioned that his works could use, well, some work and were not perfect, but I foresaw good things in them if they kept at it. I got no reply but I also so no real work from them.

Later, they asked what sort of poses they should try. I made some suggestions. They then took the time to let me know they had banned me for my "prior negative attitude" and that the recent site fuckup had apparently unbanned me, so he was re-banning me.

Needless to say, i was flabbergasted and insulted. https://i.imgur.com/uzUMHEO.png

So I made a journal saying "do not associated with him" and said exactly what transpired.

I was then slapped by a mod/admin saying "I was instigating aggressive actions against the artist".

But notice how the other artist, a reputable one, in the comment was fellating him up and down? That is ALL he accepts.

One rule that annoys me the most (besides cub ban which started with FA) is that I can't mention names of assholes. If I post a journal saying, "This artist took $100 and never delivered anything," suddenly it's me breaking the rules.

Why does this rule exist? Because some users may decide to take action and mods are too busy to moderate that. But there's an easy solution. Blame and punish the victim! That solves everything and FA is a nice and peaceful place again.

Yup, every time, because, guess what? The corrupted heads of the site are guilty of the practices themselves. Look at all the smokescreening and ass coverage zaush and jasonafex get.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but if someone is accused of rape, court is the only place which can handle this. Blaming and not going to court achieves nothing. Stealing $100 is one thing, but a "rapist" tag can only be attached after a court decides so.

Rape is a difficult matter. Some women who were actually raped avoid going to court and suffer in private because they're afraid. Some women "take away" consent after the fact and blackmail men because they know they can easily ruin a life. It is a very complicated issue, not only on the personal level, but on the society level, so a couple of leaked PMs with vague content should not be be used to tag someone a "rapist".

As to Jasonafex, he's just an asshole who exploits idiots to get their money using shady, but legal practices. That's the sort of information people really should have access to. I usually hate ED, but it's a rare case of it being actually useful, I'd say.

I never brought up the rape aspect. I merely mean the aspect of them releasing content that violates FA rules, but the mods/admins will smokescreen for them and meat shields of frothing morons will drown you out if you have any criticism or negative aspects of an image to be brought up.

Coming from someone who talks to Zaush on a near daily basis and has done ALL the research with ALL the publicly available logs, I can tell you right now that I dont see him as a rapist. He's said and done some shady things, but I dont believe for a minute that rape is one of them. He's never been convicted/charged with rape. Ever. Because there isnt enough evidence to even arrest him, let alone bring him into a court room. Sorry, but I refuse to label someone with a life-destroying tag like 'rapist' unless its proven in a court of law.

I was once being harassed and spammed notes by a user who had me blocked. They for some reason thought that me and my mate at the time were the same person and they had an issue with my mate. I posted a journal saying I wanted nothing to do with them or the drama between them and my mate. I was suspended for a week over that and told it was for harassment and trying to message a user who had blocked me. They, however got off perfectly fine and had no actions taken against them. So yea... they're all about blaming the victim. I never even spoke to the harasser before in any way, through notes or comments etc, so how did I harass them?

From a technical viewpoint, there's no easy way to deal with users sharing the same IP address. For moderators, it's very tempting to say that they're the same person, and in fact, it would be true in most cases. However, it must be investigated further if there's evidence of the users accessing the website through the same IP address before the incident. So moderators are just lazy.

Here's the thing. My account never contacted the person. My mate's account did. And we don't have the same IP. This was just the mods letting the SJW bitch go after someone who did nothing wrong and then punishing the person she went after.

I remember a 3D animator using modified publicly available models in his animations (source cited and all). One day a moderator noticed a rule against "using stock models in 3D art" and decided to wipe the gallery which existed for more than 5 years. No warning or anything. The mod even contacted the artist and asked for help in removal, because "removing each submission one by one requires too much time". No words here.

In several months the rule was clarified, mentioning that substantial changes and additions to stock models, including animations, are fine. The gallery was gone by then. The mod's position was, "What's your problem? You can just reupload everything." Descriptions, comments, favs and views? What's that?

Backups? Nope, they're for popufurs, not plebs. Soft deletion ("hide")? Nope, FA's devs are too busy with changing FA skin for like 10 years, they can't implement that.

Not to mention that with the introduction of the cub ban, every admin used their own criteria for what's cub and what's not. Small? Cub. No breasts? Cub. Alien? Cub. Pokemon? Cub. Chibi? Cub. That shit still happens, though rules were changed and clarified numerous times.

I posted a cursor theme, with custom arrows and TLK chars on top. Turned out it's a "screenshot" too.
