It has been 3 months, about time for a reflective journal no?
But first of: I have hit $450 on patreon! My normal every day expenses are covered by all you amazing people! :D
In my past I had many occasions where I would start an erotic comic or game, but never got the nerve to post it, let alone try and make it my job. Till 4 months ago where I exited a particularly bad job with a good mood and tried a single attempt at line art (a drawing of Rose I have yet to post). This drawing got me so excited that in a fit I set up all media sites under Funkybun :D first month I didn’t even think I would make it, but it would delay me having to seek a job at least for a month, it was exciting, nerve-wracking and adrenaline inducing, but I earned money! By doing my own work? God the rollercoaster of emotions every time I released something XD
But now… now I have settled, I have set up a company, I have gotten a whole bunch of commissions, a fun constant stream of fans/friends online, and I can live comfortably doing the work I do!
The main take away I got from this; the amount of validation and motivation everyone gives out for posting art online is un-paramount, it makes you feel like a new human :D
