As you guys may know, I only really post here nowadays, although I'm also active on Twitter. This was originally because I disagreed with how poorly FurAffinity was administered, as well as the fact that the dang site felt so out of date and clunky to use. After using IB for so long, though, I've come to like all the various improvements it's made over what FA does. The fact that you can have a built-in keyword blocklist alone is enough to cement the preference in my mind. Not having to see my submissions page filled up with vore art is a blessing, even though all things considered I generally only tend to pay attention to hyper artists and those are few and far between on here.
...Anyway, I was looking at the stats page earlier, and while the top slots in terms of faves AND views is dominated by Guil and that one submission of Stitch - no surprises there - I was kind of shocked to see this. I'd never have expected for my art to get just as much attention as a pic by Jaeh. On FA, it's almost guaranteed that the only pics anyone would pay attention to are the ones by the popular artists. (I could complain about how that site is a huge popularity contest, but...) It definitely makes me feel strange and I'm not sure if I should be flattered or not!
In general, my art seems to get the most attention when it involves giant dicks, regardless of whether they belong to a herm or to a boi. It's not as close a comparison as in Miyu and Mika's case, but with my pictures of Ms. Saur-Ass and Ms. Mink, although they have almost exactly the same number of favorites (and that number of favorites puts them both in the top 5), Ms. Mink's picture has double the comments and twice the number of views. It's weird to think my art gets more attention than a submission with multiple pics by Jaeh and Kosmonius, you guys!
When I drew Ms. Mink, I was actually embarrassed to post it because it was such pure, unfiltered indulgence. It was the same with this picture of Guil, actually, and I can't help but look at both and think they're much too busy and fetishy and there's so much I'd do differently if I drew them again, and yet they're far and away the two most popular pieces of my own artwork on here! I guess that means, all things considered, that the potential audience on here is different from the one I'd have over on FA, and I shouldn't necessarily expect the same sort of viewing patterns from y'all. Gideon's stuff doesn't seem to rate as highly as I'd have imagined, although in general the bottom percentile of my stuff tends to rightfully be my older and uglier works. Not much point in shipping over all the crap from FA if nobody really cares about it! XD
What do you guys think? When you look at the stats page for your own submissions, is there anything that jumps out at you? Anything that defies your expectations like that, for good or for bad? How do people respond to the stuff you post?
I dont post art so I dont know anything about stats. But from a viewer perspective... That 'jaeh' picture just seems basic in comparison to the other Mew pictures honestly :/. She's just standing there and not flaunting anything and having magical bubbles come into her or squish against her. Your images she's actually doing something at least or seems flirty and nice.
As for the mink... Mink herms are hot the end <3

Putting in a thumbnail might help, although at this point it's probably too late and I've missed the initial wave of attention each pic gets, but I'll keep that in mind going forward from here on out, I suppose...
