FA ban

by
At the moment I have been banned from Furaffinity for "discussion that endorses illegal activity. While we promote and accept all kinds of discussion of different topics we will not tolerate the idea of discussing/promoting the legalization of existing child pornography." I am have sent a email to the accounts department telling them that the ban is not justified and asking for the decision to be reversed. I was planning on delaying this journal until I had received a reply but it's now been two days and nothing has happened.

Whether I get back on FA or not I will no longer be posting artwork or stories on the site. I knew the site was going downhill for a long time and a couple of times I considered no longer posting my work there but never followed through. That decision has become a lot easier now. It is obvious that as long as Dragoneer and his friends are in charge of the site that it is not going to change its ways. It's unfortunate and I hoped I could help improve the site but it doesn't seem like that will be the case in the near future. I truly believe this ban is just an excuse to get rid of me as I have seen them ban other users that have criticised the site before.

As FA shows that it is not interested in artistic freedom or even about debate over it's policies and operation I am asking everyone to consider leaving the site. Inkbunny and SoFurry have both proven themselves far more open to debate, more interested in helping their users and are actively trying to improve their sites. I know not posting on FA limits your audience but I think FA, while once good for the fandom, has lazy, complacent and unwilling to work for their users.

Since it was taken down after my ban I will be reposting the last thread that I made on the Furaffinity forums and the messages exchanged between me and FA so that you can judge the situation for yourself. All those messages are available on the journal posted just before this one: https://inkbunny.net/journalview.php?id=30348

What's FA?

It's the future textbook example of an empire that grew large, failed to change as time passed and then crumbled into obscurity.

So ... that's NOT InkBunny then right? :V

I guess that means it doesn't matter.
