No Advents this year.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to go ahead and make a journal now in regards to Advent commissions this year. Long story short: I won't be doing them this year.

This year's been pretty rough for me and I know I'm not going to be able to handle the increased workload and time crunch that comes with the Advent Commissions. It seems to be tradition that I do them once every two years, and this year is keeping with that tradition.

As an aside, I am down with the flu. I seem to have more notes than usual at the moment, so if I haven't responded to your note yet, I probably won't for at least another week as I try and recover but still meet my work deadlines.

Apologies to anyone looking forward to Advent Commissions this year.

While it’s a little disappointing, the body comes first. Get some time off and rest. That includes artwork. As much as we love your pictures, we can wait!

Your health, welfare and sanity come first and foremost. I don't think anyone would (or should anyways) argue otherwise.

I hope things improve for you for the coming holiday season and you are able to relax. Give a hollar if any of us can be of assistance.

Flu sucks. Hope you can find some way to be productive. I built a new version of Flayrah when I came down with it. You definitely need to use your energy wisely, though - make a bed-nest and work in it. ^_^
