People are known to be less than understanding on the web. Don't let it get to you. And is he a paying customer? If so, he needs to understand that comics don't make themselves. If not, he has no say, don't listen.

heh.. he is not a customer, usually customers knows how much work we invest on this, they pay us after all ^^ ...nah, thats a the randome message i get each time a comic is updated :P

After our dealings a couple years ago, I know it's tough... people just don't get how much detail and just what goes into getting a picture digitized and ready for viewing... like me, I have no idea... I just pay to play... but I also respect.

i totally know how you feel and i'm totally guilty of being unappreciative as well (i don't complain, but i often find myself browsing quickly through pictures without really taking the time to appreciate it and all the details in it). sometimes i feel like i don't know how to read the comic books i own because i tend to just read the words while barely glancing at the pictures.

it makes me feel bad for the inkers/pencillers/colorists/artists because i don't take the time to appreciate the art ><. sometimes i do just sit around and look at the pretty pictures, but not often. it's even worse online i'd imagine, since some people would just get on and see dozens of upload notices and not really take the time to appreciate all the art that they're browsing through.

The amount of effort you put into something is rarely proportional to the amount of gratitude received. This, I have learned many times over. The quick 5-minute jobbies get all sorts of attention, while nobody appreciates the works that you poured hours of blood, sweat, and tears into.

I do understand you, especially if he's a porn addict -or- self-centered fuck. In any other case it's easy to misunderstand the effort needed on the drawing, becoming actually wrong for the drawers to blame the complainer.

Oh my....
I commend you on making tons of comics, then. Besides, even if it does update slowly, your comics are totally worth it. It takes time to make amazing comics like you do. And I bet you have many commissions to do, so yeah. Impatient jerks are impatient. I really wish I could commission you myself. I simply love my picture of Jasmine and Sonic. I know that it was from last year, but I just love it so much. ~
Thank you thank you thank youuuuuu and just continue to ignore those comments like that. Take as much time as you need with your comics. Can't wait to see more from youuuuu.

I can totally relate. I changed my own comic's updates from once a week to once every two weeks and got about 3 or 4 complaints.

Maybe I don't WANT to take 2 days out of every single week to update the freakin' thing, y'know?

Some people can never appreciate the work that goes into it...i'll admit I was slightly bothered by having a "commercial" in the middle of a webcomic but I cant change it and so I just kept reading. The problem is, you give people a foot and they want a lightyear.

Too many people Don't seem to realize that creating anything worthwhile is hard work. (a lot of times it's fun but it still takes a lot of Virtual sweat ) For someone (who probably can't create) to casually dismiss your effort as "only one page?... mehh" really blows goats X(

Post 100 page which has only numbers on it from 1 to 100 and say it will be updated with art, and also say that you posted 100 pages...or not troll back at all! XD
Don't pay attention to those, who are ignorant about the work, that needs to be done before a page is done! Just do what you do, and enjoy the people's comments who like it!

Wise words from a dragoness: I always take a good look on the person, who said something judging about me. If the person is creditable / worth it / my friend, then I consider what was said about me....else I ignore the sorry loser. =BD

It's one of those things where it's not obvious how much work goes into something until a person actually attempts to do it themselves.

Almost all art takes much longer to create than it would seem to.
The unrealistic impression is a natural result of most people only experiencing the presentation side of most things, which tends to be pretty much instantaneous.
