I feel like crap and about to rage quit

I see so many people whining for free art or they want a car (and I dont even have a car nor care for one) and they seem to get way more out of there whining like those ingreatful shits bitching on christmas that they didnt get a fucken ipad or iphone or shit like that.. Yet I look to the fandom who is supose to be the most supportive of animals and stuff and ALL I ask for is help for my dog. I got some help but barely as much help as I see people paying for a shitty art auction going way up into the fucken 1000$ mark for FUCKEN ART (and I seen art 20 times better sell for less ontop of this) and I cannot get 500$ to help my dog. Now I am faced with the possibility to use what little I was donated to help my dog to put my dog down because she has been sick for a whole month now. My dog has to be lifted up and taken outside every day to go to the bathroom cause she is so sick. a dog that use to be so lively and jump around in the course of 2 days became something that lays around all the time. The fandom is making me sick. More then willing to spend TONS of money on things that are not important and wont even bother to help what they try to anthroize. Alot of furries I am discovering don't care about anything but themselfs. When I put my dog down that will be it for me with the fandom. I will no longer count myself as a furry cause I will be so dead after having to put my dog down to even feel any joy around thoes I thought would be the most supportive

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. =/ There are people out there like that, who have plenty of money but only want to spend it on themselves. Though many times (from my experience) furs are generally poor, or have been scammed more than once before by people asking for money for a seemingly good cause. So they're a tad hesitant to open their wallets.

Personally I'm working part time at minimum wage while also going into bankruptcy so I can reduce my $53k of debt down to about $20k (my car and federal student loan). I'm also about $4k behind in rent (thankfully my 'landlord' is also one of my mates), so I really can't afford anything, personally.

I would suggest to make a video of your dog in it's current condition, post it on youtube, ask people to share it around and ask for donations that way. You'll get far more of a response because you won't be limited to just furries.

I'll hope for the best for you and your dog. If you need to go after this I wouldn't blame you, but if you'd like to stay in contact just send me a PM and I'll give you some info. Also, I'll share this jounal (sorry for being a few days late) but I'm not sure it will help. =/

(I'll have to wait until I get home, the work computers are all locked down so much I can't even click on 'post' to start a journal.)

I wish I could help, I'm really sorry to hear this. The only thing I can do is forward this journal like Sokuji, but I can't do much more, I wish I could, my dog died a year ago, he also had to be helped out to go do his erm, business. It might have been the same thing, but the vets never found it before he died. Once again, I really wish I could help, but alas, I'm a broke College student without a proper life >.<

I'm sorry that your dog is sick :(

I'm sorry about Rain. I have lost several pets in the past, dear, beloved pets. I know it hurts, seeing them in pain. It's the worst feeling in the world to see pain and suffering in those you love, and to not be able to help them. I'm not going to defend the actions of the furry community here at Inkbunny, because you will encounter the same thing pretty much regardless of where you go. I know, it's horrible. But, I have wasted enough time in my life being angry at the world. It simply adds to my own suffering, and does not make the world any more accommodating.

People caring nothing more than just themselves is a reality in general not just furry. This fandom as diverse as it is is basically a microcosm of humanity in general. Same applies to any fandom and community out there. There are going to be more douche bags and ass hats than people actually worth their salt. This is why I tend to focus more on viewing and making furry content than actually going out of my way to fight the dramas out there. As for Rain, I wish I could have helped out with the issue with your dog. But my resources like yours are very limited.
