Grave Concern

This website, whilst a source of certain artists and arts I discover, but that are not available on Deviantart or Furaffinity, makes me take pause over the mental state of both artists and viewers on this website. Whilst some art work, harmlessly shows charecters who would appear to be prepubesent or underaged...

What I ask is why are the graphic and explicit depictions of these charecters in, what is perceivable as furry pedophilia?
I would only suggest that anyone that produces and views such works takes the time to take a long look at themselves and judge appropriatly... Some thing must always be treated with the same hatred that it would receive in any other setting...

Thank you

There are many reasons for including cubs in art and stories, but it's all done with the knowledge that it's fiction, everyone involved in its creation is actually an adult (at least here) and isn't hurting anyone in real life.

Maybe - in my experience, most commonly - it is because.they like to represent themselves as younger, weaker characters liable to suggestion or being overpowered. It might also be that they want to tell a story about innocent sexual exploration, which does tend to happen in childhood.

Some have a personal connection to specific cartoon series which they have retained into adulthood, and have "imprinted" on its characters - who're often depicted as children, so that children can relate to them.

Perhaps some are pedophiles - which isn't illegal, in and of itself, and may not be something they can alter. If so, maybe it's better that they spend their time obsessed with characters which don't exist in real life.

In a few cases it may be because they have a diaper or infantilism fetish, and feel that fits best with a cub. There are probably a few other reasons I can't think of right now.

Inkbunny's acceptance policy revolves around the idea that, as long as you can avoid seeing such content through technical means, it's not something you should be bothered by - or harass others about. Of course, if those technical measures aren't working, that's a problem that needs to be addressed.
