Sometimes our fandom gets the media spotlight shined on us because of the pornographic material we produce from time to time. Some people find it downright awful that someone like us can take a beloved childhood icon like Frosted Flakes' Tony the Tiger and transform him into handsome DILF that we can't help but fap to. These people look at us with disgust and say things like "Those damn Furries are sick freaks! They ruin and pervert the childhood of not only our past, but of our children too!" Yeah sure... we draw pics and tell stories of characters like Sonic being secret lovers with Tails, and Coleen of Road Rovers being gang banged by her male teammates. However here is the truth of it all...
THIS ISN'T NEW.
The twisting and soiling of cartoon and storybook characters as an artistic media has been around for a very long time. Hell it was around before radio and television! Remember the classic story of "Little Red Riding Hood"? You know that cute story about a little girl, a mean wolf; and the morel about how it isn't good to talk to strangers? We make porn of it all the the time, however we weren't the first to soil it. There were pornographic renditions of it in gentleman's magazines going back as far as the early 1800s, but the most classic perversion that all of us know pretty well was done by the cartoonist Tax Avery. Tax's take on this fairytale made Red to be this vivacious saucy redhead with a pair of Ds and a Christmas ham in the back stuffed into tight and revealing evening-wear, and the Big Bad Wolf became this tux wearing horn-dog that got a stiffie every time Little Red Riding Whore strutted out on stage in nothing but a bathing suit! This duo first showed up together in the cartoon "Red Hot Riding Hood" and soon made waves for another fairytale when they reappeared in the toon "Swing-Shift Cinderella", and even Fairy Godmother was twisted into a wand waving cougar who had a hankering for wolf meat in this cartoon...
And while we are on the topic of cartoons, the icon Bugs Bunny had his share of innuendo too. In the cartoon "The Wabbit Who Came Home For Dinner", there is a moment where Bugs steps out of Elmer Fudd's shower and you can see what appears to be a penis on him. Also "Spongebob Squarepants" has hidden innuendo as well. In the episode where he tries to get Gary to take a bath, Spongebob tries a trick where he paints the tub to look like a treasure chest. When he holds out a couple of bars of soap and tells his pet snail they're dubloons, he says "Don't drop them." while giving a wink.
I'm well aware of the penis in The Wabbit Who Came Home For Dinner and I have pointed it out to a lot of people but they always say "Nah. Thats his knee bending as he climbs out of the shower." But theres a second where both his legs are down and its sticking up. So yeah. Also Bugs was well known for cross dressing.

I just watched "The Wabbit Who Came Home for Dinner", and I didn't really notice anything until the second time Bugs stepped out the shower and the towel moved a bit lower and the upwards again. OO When I watched it years ago, I always assumed those were misplaced lines for whatever reason, like an animation error or sommat. ROFL wow! xD

holy crap i never knew about the bugs bunny one. and the newer cartoons (starting around the 90s as i recall) there has been A LOT of sexual innuendo. wild knights gulkeeva is a pretty big offender of this. if you look back at some shows and rewatch while listening to what they say its pretty obvious now to us as adults that we often missed as kids. I remember watching street sharks back in the day and the one thing that i always noticed was that Streaks fly was always down and his pants opened slightly. how did they not fall down @@. but anyway yea the bugs bunny is just....wow kinda makes me giggle.
