Stance on commission druggies and artists on DNP lists

Coming back to some really old issues that I have against the majority of people, I decided to try to explain the reasons in more details here. While I know that won't change anything from them or make them less aggressive because oh noes I touched to their only life purposes to buy commissions all the time, I will showcase some of the points that both commission druggies and artists on DNP posts point out all the time as excuses.

By commission druggies, I refer to people who spend their governmental paycheck money on commissions all the time, then upload them in "their" gallery, typically in a fashion where everything in "their" gallery isn't made from themselves. People who commission a lot but actually have the decency not to upload something they didn't draw in their gallery are completely fine and excluded from this term.

But before, here are some stance on those commission druggies. They're more of my opinion on the matter and not actual facts or excuses rebuttals.

- Your personal gallery is (was) a place to upload your personal work, not other's. Look at FA and DA, you will see an automatic copyright notice. That's because the websites assumes your gallery is for your personal work. While InkBunny doesn't have it for, some reason, look at the front page then. What do you see under each thumbnail ? "By _________", exactly. I'm sure you don't need an IQ of 200 to figure out this means Made by, not Uploaded by.
- It's simply very disgusting to see how people prefer to buy their fame by spending money on commissions all the time, then act like they actually did some impressing work on them. It doesn't help that most, if not every one of them, spends their whole time on "their" art and reply to every one of those comments, getting satisfaction from them by doing absolutely nothing at all.

And now, for the actual excuses they always pull out of their mouths !

Commission Druggies | Like prayers : Don't work on anything to have shit done to you !

It gives the artist more exposure !

Never said that was bad or that wasn't the case. You guys use that excuse card all the time, because it's basically making you look good from doing something nice by not working at all on it, like how those YouTube whores boast how they donated so much of their money to charity while the money itself has been generated by watchers and not the actual guy who made the video but act like they did something awesome.
Anyway, the actual point here on why that excuse is really stupid :
By your logic, anything is fine as long you give the artist the exposure needed, right ? Then how about I upload all of the stuff I commissioned on different accounts I would create each week ? That is spam alright, but that would be fine because I paid for those pictures, right ?

I own (copy)rights to the picture so I can upload it !

In all actually, no, you do not. You maybe own the copyrights to your character if it's on the artwork, BUT, you do not have the copyrights to the picture, not even a part of it, unless the guy actually sold/transferred the rights. You also cannot actually copyright any ideas, so that one excuse is down the toilet too.
Even if you happen to have bought the rights to the pictures, the fact that they actually spend more money just to "secure" something they never worked on it is really disgusting.

Insecure Artists | Can't delete mean comments, can't have inner peace

They have no control over the comments/people

There's actually not a lot to say here, it's basically artists being insecure because they cannot delete those meanie comments, at least from what I heard from Kyoushiro and Ohmuu especially. First, there are moderation, at least on e621 (The main website I'm referring to about redistributed work) and really bad comments are not seen too well here. Second, who freaking cares if some dumbass said something so mean about your work ? Just move out, that's not really hard.

People edit/make variations their pictures

Again, artists being so insecure about that, because boohoo some modifications on my picture is going to ruin my life, or something along those lines. Again, can't you just ignore these, or worst case, just flag those edits if that's really necessary, instead of nuking your whole stuff by being DNP because "boohoo someone has different tastes than I do" ?

They lose exposure from having their work distributed

The funniest excuse from them by far. It's a really good one because you don't need to be intelligent to see that's complete bullshit here.
Let me simply illustrate that with an example. Mr. Ohmuu has, let see, 100 watchers. He posts some picture on his FA account. It got 150 views. Someone decides to post the picture on e621, which has a lot of viewers in here, and if the artist is actually good it's bound to get watched, a lot.
Now let's take the worst case scenario. No one liked it, no one looked at the source. Does his 150 viewed picture will get lower ? Will he lose watchers because of that ? Of fucking course not.
Now, what usually happens.
People like the picture, people are interested about the picture. They look at the source, they see the artist, like what he's doing. THE DUDE WATCHES YOU ON FA
So even if the e621 picture was a failure, this one picture doesn't steal views from his main gallery. It gives the artist more exposure, but then you hear these twats say boohoo people prefer to go here rather than my main gallery, which is quite hilarious because this famous Ohmuu dude got a lot of comments from people on his boohoo journal about how they were able to find/watch him because they saw his pictures on e621 first. Sounds quite ungrateful, right ?

That pretty much sums up my stance of these kind of people. I could have talked about those Patreon paywallers and such, but I don't need to because everyone hates them already, HA
