Really weird. I'm fairly certain this kind of stuff is the reason why furries have the reputation they do.
Humans are trouble. Humans make lots of laws about sexual depictions of humans which vary from place to place. As a site dedicated to furry content, it was easiest to cut through that by simply not allowing it.
I suppose I hadn't thought of it quite like that; I can think of a few other solutions, I suppose, but they'd all require some serious extra load on moderators. I guess it does depend on user base when making that decision, however, it does also lead to the sort of reputation that this site has against the others.
