What character is the most popular for R34/the biggest click bait?

From what I know, (female)Renamon seems to be very popular, and would be my best guess, but I wanted to check with the crowds for input.

yeah and like the Big hitters, I think she's going to stay. I mean a Furry bad ass Rabbit chick who REALLY is open to bondage, rape play, Size Difference and guns. This has all the markings of a long term runner.

Which of the Eeveelutions would you say would be the most popular?
My guess would be Vaporeon and/or Glaceon, but I might be mistaken :va

I think it's honestly personal preference, but I know as soon as Sylveon was announced e621 blew up with that. I think it's because of the gayish color scheme and the ribbons for fetish-fuel. I'd give Glaceon a solid second place, and Vaporeon a third. But again, that's just me.

I've seen quite a number of characters in R-34 style situations. Personally, I thought the sorceress from Dragon's Crown or Morrigan/Lilith from Darkstalkers would be the top one.

maybe that's the problem with popular stiff...it doesn't hang around too long. i still see art for it daily alog with judy hops and undertale. stuff like renamon and gadget are timeless but it's mostly just the older folks who like it.

Not sure about overall popularity but maybe you could aggregate some con data and see if attendance and number of cons is up or down.
Might help to clarify the purpose of the bait. Is it ad bait, catchy web image, business card, etc.

From experience I can tell you that a LOT of people go after Reamonn material.   can't go wrong with giving her/him a try  and dig into some of the kinks people like...  

other than that you could get picky with Pokemon. Personally I think Alopex is a fairly popular character to do r34.

The next six places under fan_character is the Mane Six followed by the princesses. That's amazing, not that I mind the amount of pony art. Judy Hops is on her way up but MLP:FiM has a five year head start in taking over furry fandom.

For female characters, you have Rouge, Krystal, and Renamon as staples.

Male, Tails is generally quite popular. Klonoa has a following that pops up every now and then too. Though honestly, male 34 charactets are less popular overall, often just serving as logical way to draw a female 34 character.

Well, I was going to take a few guess at this as well, trying to think of the most mainstream characters, like Pikachu or the aforementioned Renemon, but then I remembered: There's literally and organized database of furry porn that will give me more specific generalization...yes that's a thing I just said.

Anyways, filtering Character and Count in the tags of e621, interestingly enough, the top few characters, aside from fan character are practically the entire main cast of My Little Pony FIM. Seriously, it has the mane six, with Twilight first, then the princesses then Spike. They're followed by Sonic the Hedgehog. Then ponies, Rouge the Succubus, ponies, Miles Prower (Tails), ponies, Krystal, as mentioned, Amy Rose, ponies, Fox McCloud followed by Foxy from FNaF, interestingly enough...

but yeah...*scrolled though the list some more for interesting characters*...wow, interestingly enough (I said that a lot, huh), closer to the bottom but on the first page regardless there's already Toriel, and at the very bottom Judy Hopps.

I'm sure if they used a tending algorithm Toriel and Judy would be on top of it. They may be rising rapidly in the list. I'm surprised Sonic himself is above Tails who I think would be more popular as a r34 subject. Ponies hit furry fandom like a bomb in 2010/2011/2012 and they've remained crazy popular ever since but it's amazing that they've stayed on top ever since with tons of fanart still being produced of all of them. I'd think more FNaF characters would be represented higher up so maybe they're losing popularity now?

Well, I did see the other characters in the first page. Foxy just having been the first, Bonnie following after...because, you know...Foxy x Bonnie is a thing X3 Freddy's next and Chica just under...so, the main 4 are all there, but I suppose having been a horror game, and the lore of them being possessed by the souls of children, was a bit of a turnoff for some, so they aren't higher.

Once upon a time, Minerva Mink was magnetic for the ink (and color) whims of artists. A bombshell of a gal seen frequently in the '90s.
Gadget Hackwrench was no slouch, getting lots of boys and girls drooling over her.

There's also the clickbait that are the Tiny Colorful Equines: Amicable Relationships are 'Magic'. They've been around for years at this point, and by Cosma, they have a LOT of Rule 34 stories and pictures surrounding them. LOTS. Twilight Sparkle and Rarity tend to draw a lot of attention, as do the other three princesses, Luna, Celestia, and Cadance. There're all sorts of interpretations of the characters, from a big, busty Fluttershy ('Hootershy'), to nerdy hot librarian Twilight Sparkle, and pretty much every point in between.

I'd say that all the MLP characters share #1 Renamon and Krystal are still pretty popular, so are Pokemon in general (evee, pikachu are good examples).

I think Zootopia will stick around in the porn scene because I believe that movie to be a very important movie for all furs and I think it will be remembered historically as one of the most influential pieces of popular media that I believe will help shift the public opinion on the fandom as a whole away from the drama.
