Hello

So I know I've not been very active on here and to be honest, I keep forgetting I have an InkBunny, plus some of the site rules are just...ugh! I have so many great photos of my pets and models but can't upload them to this site because they just get removed :( and I'm not really sure what their rules and guidelines are for referenced material.

With that being said, I'll try to be more active but I make no promises.

The rules are that way because Inkbunny is intended to be a site for furry art - your own, or work you have commissioned - rather than a social media site for furries. Our staff do not wish to spend time and money on hosting and moderating galleries of purchased items or pet photos, even if some of your friends might like to see them. We'd rather focus on running a great furry art site. But you're welcome to link to sites which do permit such content (including non-furry ones such as Flickr, Tumblr or 500px) in your profile or journals.

It's not quite clear what you mean by "referenced material". We do permit derivative works, but you must credit any other artists, and obtain permission from them before posting; they must also contain significant original content. Likewise, you can look at a photo and try to create a piece of art depicting a similar scene; but tracing over it or applying filters to it, not so much.

If you have a question about whether a particular work would meet our acceptable content policy, you can upload it without publication (or post it elsewhere first) and ask in a support ticket.
