Just a Reminder

That I'm more active and have more updates on both Weasyl and FA.

I tend to only post blatant furry smut or commissions on SoFurry and Inkbunny. :U

Is that a time issue, or more to do with what art you think will be well-received here?

I ask because FA to IB can make it easy to submit large batches of already-described art, albeit not at the higher resolutions offered by Inkbunny. You could use it occasionally for material which didn't meet your usual criteria for posting here.

Ah-- I used FA2IB when I first opened up shop here.

Not so much a time issue since I breeze thru uploading on the 3 art-sites I usually use. DA, FA and Weasyl.
More because I think it will be more well-received if it's just straight smut. I don't have that many watchers here in the first place-- and the ones I do tend to only be interested in the smut or the fully colored and shaded images. -shrug-

So I just kind of use this and SoFurry as places to show my commissions and hopefully snag some wayward sales. I haven't made a sale from InkBunny yet. =/ Tho wither or not that's because of the rate that I upload is anyone's guess.

But thanks for commenting!

Well, we're not going to complain about getting work which users here consider your best! ;-)

It's interesting; Inkbunny has maintained a higher proportion of mature or adult work, and we're trying to figure out the reasons why. (The age limit is likely one of them, but this could be as well.)

Oh, and a random note - if a commissioner is on FA or SoFurry, you can do 'fa ! username' or 'sf ! username' without the spaces and quotes to link to them in the description. We're adding w! for Weasyl and probably da! for deviantART soon.

It's because it allows mature cub art-- which is banned pretty much everywhere else. So it's pretty much a safe haven for exiled cub artists with an occasional non-cub artist here and there. There was also talk of how some of the admins used to run a cub-oriented comic of sorts? Which probably drew in even more adult-cub related artwork. I personally don't have a problem with the adult-cub fandom but it's clear how those who don't affiliate directly with them could easily become choked out in their haven unintentionally.

Yeah the little shortcut to remember how to direct link to FA, is something I always seem to forget-- probably because I don't visit here as often, hahaha whoops.

Yes, Softpaw Magazine. One of the original goals of Inkbunny was to make it more easy for artists to make money from comics in the digital age. Print is a lot of hassle. No doubt the fact that the site developer and his closest friends were cub-oriented had a big impact, though I think without the ban at FA, it would not have been as big of an issue.

Now I'd argue that we're more of a Sonic and MLP haven. Not sure that's better. :-D

Sorry for the super late reply--

Also a friend of mine said he stopped caring about this site because you couldn't sell your art files on it anymore-- which tracks back to the fact that once again-- almost no one besides cub-furs wants to be involved with cubfurs. -shrug- So that's a reason right there I guess.

Oh pffttt the fandoms lol. The fandoms are always going to be the ones right in your face no matter what website you go on. They are easily recognizable therefore people will look for them. But also-- please take notice that the cub-fetish is also entangled with them here. Once again-- bringing up the catch 22 I said earlier.

The whole website is kind of a Catch 22, tbh. Which I wish it wasn't, since it's so well built. :U

Yes, that is a reasonable reason for losing interest in the site. We still want to get sales back at some point! But the developer previously responsible for it is busy, and I've been concentrating on other things, like getting more traffic.

Perhaps with that feature, some might be willing to overlook their distaste for certain art or artists. We will probably never be the place for those who are unable to tolerate the presence of a group with fetishes they dislike, because it is a requirement of our philosophy.

That's good. I'm sure a few more people might become interested in InkBunny again if you got that sales thing going again. I know it'd be convenient for at least a few people.

Even without I'm glad that this site exists even if people see it as nothing more than a cub-fur paradise. It's well built, well-run and constantly having updates. Which I like. Perhaps in time people will learn how to use their blacklistings and get used to it? Therefore not having the cubfur art win by a landslide in everything here...xD

Either-way it's also nice that your doing some PR work here and trying to make a good opinion of your website. (It's just a bit of a shame I'm not anyone too popular-- but that says something even nicer that you took the time to talk to me since I wasn't someone famous).

Cub art will always be popular here, as long as other sites forbid it. But it isn't all we're about, and those who can look past that (and are smart enough to make use of Inkbunny's features) may find a home here. Fortunately, those are just the kind of people we wish to add to our community!

Traffic is increasing (it's double that of Weasyl), so I'm confident in our future, regardless of our reputation in some areas. :-)

Hahaha Yes. Now if only I could make a sale or two on here that'd be nice. lol
