With FA being down (well, in read-only mode, so useless as a form of communication) for a whole week in December, I'm trying to branch out to some different art sites, gradually posting my old work there so as to have a bit of history. I know that IB has a bad reputation among the babyfur community as "the cub porn site," but I also know that I have that material blocked, so I won't be seeing it. Anyway, I'm not moving to IB or leaving FA, but I'm posting to multiple sites so I have options in case one or more of them experiences downtime. Two of them having downtime at once is unlikely but possible, but since I'm working on dA, Weasyl, SoFurry and IB (in addition to FA), it's going to be very unlikely for ALL of those to be down at the same time.
What's more, I happened to meet GreenReaper at IFC this summer. He seems a decent guy. Metapix sounds very interesting.
So I'm trying to use the FA 2 IB transfer script to get my art from my FA gallery and bring it here. Wish me luck ...
