I went to my insurance place today to get the info changed over to the new vehicle, and I got another pleasant surprise. I expected the premiums to go up a little since the Explorer is newer, and it's an SUV. Well, turns out the Explorer is SO MUCH SAFER than the Grand Dammit, it comes with a 30% safety discount, so my insurance went DOWN by $6.65 per month!
Oh, and here's the pictures I took of it today using my Droid X's 8-megapixel camera. I shrank them and touched them up just a tad in Photoshop to get rid of the graininess (low light, storm was coming through).
