Turkish Airlines, which maintains its corporate headquarters there, is the country of Turkey's national airline. With operations to more than 300 locations in 127 nations, it has expanded to become one of the biggest airlines in the world since its founding in 1933. Ataturk Airport's General Management Building houses the Turkish Airlines Malta Office. By number of destinations, it was the fourth-largest airline in the world as of July 2015, operating regularly to 290 sites across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
