Hello! My name is RailwayHound, though you can also call me Aiden. I’m a 20-year-old digital artist with a deep passion for creativity and storytelling through original characters. In addition to my art, I’m an enthusiastic train lover both real-life railroads and model trains have been a lifelong fascination of mine. The rhythm, design, and history of trains often inspire me, and this interest frequently makes its way into my work.
I’m also autistic, and that’s an important part of who I am it shapes both my personal life and my artistic journey in meaningful ways. I often express my thoughts, emotions, and experiences through my artwork, especially through the characters I create. Art has become not only a creative outlet for me but also a way to connect with others and communicate when words can be challenging.
Some of my original characters (OCs) reflect my personality and experiences. For instance, Aidan my main mascot OC is a representation of entirely myself. Minty, another OC, embodies my love for mint-flavored ice cream, while Fretta is based on my real-life sister. These characters help tell stories that are close to my heart.
At the same time, I also enjoy creating OCs just for fun. Characters like Cody, Keven, Sarah, and Viney are part of a special tradition developed around the month of June a time to celebrate and uplift people for who they truly are. These characters, while whimsical and playful, are created with love and positivity in mind.
Beyond art and trains, I also enjoy indie horror games and films. There’s something captivating about the storytelling and suspense in that genre that draws me in and inspires me creatively.
Although I sometimes find it difficult to communicate or explain things clearly something that can be challenging for me I’m always striving to improve and grow. I value kindness, happiness, and the opportunity to make new friends in creative communities like DeviantArt.
