I remember playing the first Guild Wars, but I got spoiled by a top level guild that gave me all sorts of endgame gear. So with the easily reached level cap, I stopped feeling the need to play very quickly. Also, that horrible, horrible fantasy pulp story writing.
I look at GW2 videos sometimes, but I am mostly reminded of the same gameplay, so I haven't been interested much. The race you draw seems rather neat though. Maybe if it's on a Steam sale some day, I'll pick it up.
