Just my opinion [with ElsoarEconomyHub Community]: As in any case there is always 2 sides to everything. First take everyone out the equation except you and your husband. That’s where the problem starts. Second be careful how you handle the situation with his daughter. In a stable relationship she should as well be your daughter in your heart. (Came from a broken home and my, if we shall say “step mother” is amazing and never made a difference in my dad’s kids before her. She respected my mother in every way and they parented as moms together. We respect and appreciate this even today. We were blessed to have such a bonus in our lives ) Third it’s the husband’s responsibility as a husband and head of his home to put his father or anyone else in their place, that is honoring his wife. Set the husband down and have a serious yet calm conversation with him. And don’t ever lower yourself to others standards by disrespect him by disrespecting his daughter or his parents.
