Seeing several of the artists I watch doing their art summaries for the passing year reminded me of doing it as well. And while I did my first one at the end of the last year, this one has a special meaning to me since it's actually complete. The reason for this is of course that I started drawing in March of last year, which means that the first two months are missing and several others are pretty bad XD
I feel like my art has changed a lot, and that I made some nice improvements, especially since I focused more on specific areas like anatomy and shading, instead of just drawing aimlessly whatever got into my mind. Looking through my art folder gave me some food for thought, like for example how to improve on what I have learned so far, and how to avoid arriving on a plateau. Let's see.
The most significant thing to me is that drawing feels just as invigorating to me as it did in the very beginning. More than anything it is this that I want to preserve for myself, no matter if reach my artistic goals or not.
