How are you doing today? I hope you're doing alright because it's just about the weekend, and for us that means another chapter in our lives. Every single page is special just like you, I promise. You know, now and again we might come across someone or they might come across us, and they might not have nice things to say to you. It's hard not to get mad about it because sometimes it can feel like you're being put on the line for your strength, your morals, and your worth. If people have made you upset today, or just might, well I want you to set those things off to the side for just a moment. I want you to remember something because it's really important: You've made it this far, and you'll only be going on further. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, and you have all the time in the world to understand who you are by your own definition, not others.
Now is not a time for fighting or anger because there is one thing to think about: We are only enemies because we don't know we're friends. Now more than ever is not the time that we match hostility or aggression but match kindness and compassion with those that share in this. You're here now, and you're among friends. I hope you remember this because animosity is a shroud made from impatience and apathy. Only with patience and empathy can we stand for better days not only for others but ourselves. If they are doing their best to make you mad..just remember that you don't have to prove a thing to anyone, and the only words that will ever matter are the ones that make you a better person, not worse.
