Project ~ The Echo

Okay These are some old Notes for a project I've been working on since about 2006. I'm moving them here for easier access and the like.

(More to come as I go)

Image 1 and 2 are REALLY Early Concepts, ((Lol, the numbers are so wrong lol))
Image 3-5 are Early/dead concept designs of the Echo. The original files died many PC's ago.
Image 6-8 are some internals I did a while ago for practice... theories, and the like.

It looks...REALLY easy to shoot down if you ahve the firepower...

It is. the idea is that the ship is more along the lines of a Big Ass Space Tank. It wrecks big shit it wrecks big shit very well. It's suppose to be supported by other fleet ships. The "alien" ship is supported by fleets of drones/fighters that double as Extra Armor

Too bad that those fighters could be picked off slowly by highs speed raids...I'm pretty good in space combat sims and this thing looks like you'd need a strategy similar to attacking a borg ship...how far do the turrets depress? -IS already planning possible attack runs.-

Oh? You DO realize my ship doesn't use turrets but rather multi-directional beam arrays? ANd depending on how your weapons work there is an old trick to make my shields a lot stronger.

I'm also having to REALLY scale everything, Most my "designs" forgot to include armor, hulls and "designs" that thing's going to be almost 15 or 20 km (ignoring Turret) x 60% x 25% (ignoring turret) firing City Bus Sized ammo plus small car mediums and a whole host of protection. kind of a "can we strap a gun here?" ~ Fuck if I know I'll grab some tape.
