Backstory:
The members of Team Kickback are one of the many lines of genetically engineered artificial life forms created by Goth-Tech Corporation. Goth-Tech is not alone in such business venture as there is a fierce market competition against other rival corporations such as Dynamic Developments.
As a means to test the superiority of their creations against that of other competing brands, these multiplanetary corporations soon organized competitions to promote their products, these events drew large crowds and high revenue and soon derived into their ultimate conclusion: gladiatorial battles.
Trust, Ruby and Sapphire are high performance competition versions of the models that are available to the general public. All these artificially created being, regardless of maker and brand, are considered property, trade goods - not beings with rights or self-agency, and as such legally can be placed in death threatening situations without risk of liability or moral limitations. Goth-Tech (GT) was among the worst in the treatment of their gladiators as a marketing strategy; GT was able to produce these "models" faster and cheaper than their competitors making these easily replaceable and as such the company would throw their combatants to the arena with no armor protection whatsoever, wearing barely-there dermofabric suits decorated in the company's color scheme and logo to accentuate how little worth these creatures had and as a means to titillate the viewers of the event. Team Kickback could only rely on their innate combat abilities to determined their survival at the end of each bout.
Trust: Able to sprout wings to gain the ability to fly, can turn invisible and use sonar to locate rivals with a similar cloaking ability. He can turn his arm into a devastating bioenergy cannon as a trump card, last resort weapon.
Ruby: Can duplicate any part of her body and even generate a full clone of herself to assist in combat - she also possesses a highly effective healing factor to regenerate damage and has superior sprinting speed. As an offensive measure she is able to breath fire or ice in rapid succession.
Sapphire: The senior member of the team - leader and powerhouse - possessing superior strength she has the ability to turn her skin into a metal alloy material to resist heavy damage. Most of her striking power is concentrated in her legs conferring her the agility to jump with great speed and power to dodge attacks or deliver devastating drop kicks against her adversaries.
