Background: Shannon was born in a large family and always felt like the odd-one out. She watched a lot of Disney films and romantic comedies as a kid and often dreamed of having a storybook romance. In high school she was often pushed around by other girls. One day some mean kid knocked her books out her hands and Flash came by and helped picked them up. That one act of kindness made Shannon fall madly in love with him. She often felt that they have something in common since they've dealt with the same problems...and that they're both nerds!

Now you know why she's crazy for Flash.
