Looks like one of the more menacing gladiators of the crowd wants to take on the black cat. Why is he in a gladiator ring? Was he arrested and the locals wanted to throw him and other criminals and fighters to have some entertainment? The challenger looking for revenge for something Kain did to his town or family? I will leave the reasons up to the viewer.
