Welcome to Camp Tikkalotta! Most fun summer camp in all of Funderland! Tickling is a major value in Funderful culture, and its Summer camps are no different. Well, actually, this would be the only one that emphasizes tickle play. It's mostly games that tend to end in laughter, not always about tickles, but quite often. First day of camp, kids get to break the ice by tickling each other free of bonds, all on their own, and later that evening after dinner they all gang up and tickle their own respective counselors. Among the activities throughout their week there, each afternoon a few kids from each group are selected for the big stocks, some from the boys group and then some from the girls. By the end of the week, each kid has had their fair share of tickle time in the big stocks. For six hours in the afternoon, 3 sets of boys and girls take turns, an hour each getting tickled by the other gender group. That may not seem like enough time in the week, but there always winds up being plenty enough. Each group consists of a boy and a girl counselor, who make sure nothing gets outta hand and that no one gets hurt or has a bad time. And Merrick is the counselor for this boy's group, and happiness and laughter is his game! And it's his group's turn today. Let's introduce his ticklish kids, shall we? guest starring Merrick as both the counselor and as the dood introducing the kiddos!
Take it away Merrick! Starting from the left...
Berri: Good ol' Berri! He's such an energetic lad, likes being tickled perhaps a bit more than he should, cuz he really can't take it as well as he thinks he can. His feet are a little on the big side, and super ticklish, but he's most responsive to lighter touches as opposed to more abrasive ones. I.e. feathers over brushes for him. Everything works great on him, but the feathers really make him squee! Dunno if his tail is wagging harder or his legs pulling, but he makes no effort to hold back his laughter. He's really a lotta fun~ Really really. I got in there and got him with a feather duster shortly after this pic was taken, got him back real good for his tickle ambush on me just earlier that day. Yeah, I stole his feet for a little bit for my own selfish self, but I had the girls go after his pits and sides in the meantime, so it's all good. It's a pity they gave so much pity to his pitties until I took over his puppy piddies, cuz he's real sensitive up top too, just as much as his soft, tender feet at least. By the time he was let out, he actually went and took a little nap in the shade, giggling for at least ten minutes after the tickling stopped. Almost missed his chance to get some payback against the girls who got him real good. Like I said, almost missed, but not quite. More on that later. Hee hee... Good ol' Berri~
Percival: Lil' mousy Percival, or Percy for short, and as he prefers. He actually looks a lot like a good friend of mine, now that I think of it. But naw, just one of those faces I guess. A real logical sort he is. Still learning the ropes of common sense, though. See, he likes being tickled enough, but he's so ticklish on his feet that he really can't take it. So what does he do? He decides to go barefoot the entire time he's at camp. At a tickle themed camp. Like I said, logical. That's kid logic, for ya. But see, what eh was going for was that he was trying to make sure his feet stayed so dirty and muddy that no one would wanna tickle them. And if they did, the thick layer of dirt would protect him from the tickling somewhat. Fat lotta good that did him, I just sent the girls in with some soapy scrub brushes. But hey, at least it's not feathers or fingers, right? Yeahhhh, he wound up rethinking his battle plan after this afternoon. He squeaks so cutely when you touch his feet, and even more so when he can't pull them away. The dirt didn't really deter anyone anyway, the cheetah girl was more than happy to just grab his toes to clean between them. With a toothbrush, of course. The real bit of humor there is the girl scrubbing his toes with that toothbrush is named Mint. Like that toothpaste I brush with every couple of months! Hey, what's with that face, do you not get the joke? Anyway, they got his feet niiiice and clean, even going over them a second time. So diligent those girls were, didn't overlook his toes either, got between them three times even! He kept his shoes on mostly for the rest of that week, until they were pried off manually. Honestly, I think the smell from wearing his shoes all week did him much better than the mud ever did. I gave them another good soapy scrubbing before he went home though~
Dilly: A red squirrel with a real sense of humor. Like seriously, real comedian this one is. Been pulling pranks all week. Saran wrap on the potty seats, bucket of water on the door, laxative in the pudding, my pudding to be precise, and keep in mind I go for seconds with dessert. So I got a little extra sneaky with him. I told the girls not to touch his feet for the first half an hour, and I made sure to pull his toe ties extra stiff. The reason for this is cuz I got a little tactic myself, to get back at the more mischievous kids. See that bright white on his feet there? That's not just some poor highlighting job. Yeah, that's itching powder, and lots of it~ Dusted it aaallll over his feet, got a little extra between his toes too. Now normally, itching powder is supposed to be a golden orange color, but that would blended into his fur too well. So I mixed the little golden spicules into a little bit of flour from the kitchen, just for show to make it show up better. Real nice effect. I don't think it really diluted it at all either. At first, he said it didn't work. But about a minute later his toes were scrunching, but he still denied it. Five minutes later, he was begging for me to get is off! He was giggling most of the time too, I dunno if he was just laughing as kids tend to when enduring something playful yet sadistic, or if is was actually tickling him a little, which is not unusual for really sensitive feet to be tickled by itching powder. But I let him shake and wiggle and giggle and beg for a full half hour before I let the girls go at his feet with back scratchers and hairbrushes. They scratched his itch real good. Still dunno if it was really worth it to him though~ Especially since he had to rush off to the restroom to wash the powder off anyway. He's a good sport though, still continued to pull pranks all week long... Especially when the lil' munchkin found my stash of itching powder.
Well that's my story, and I'm sticking to it! One of them at least. Golly, what a summer~ Ya know, there were lotsa other kids too, maybe I'll let ya meet the girls sometime. It was their turn next, after all. (Merrick out)
