"Corpsing" is a theater term for when you break out of your character and starting laughing. It's not something you'd want to do, so of course actors bored with endless rehearsals or endless takes try to make each other corpse to ease the tension. Your picture here seem to me a dramatic close-up of these two, where the either the director hasn't said "cut!", or someone forgot a line or a cue, and so they're exchanging glances in-character to see who wants to do what, next.
