I did change the timbre and whole instrumentation of the original quite a bit, changing it from a more softly flute ambient track to a bigger orchestrated one. Hope you like it :)

I've heard a handful of remixes for this particular track, and so far YOURS is the best. I'd have to say the underlying choir adds a lot of substance, and the hammered bass sound fits the creepy atmosphere of Metroid perfectly. I recall growing up that just about every soundtrack for the snes was fantastic, or at the very least memorable. Not sure if you're into metal, but Steamage did some awesome covers: metroidmetal.com
